Congratulations to the 11 Alpha Crush athletes who competed Friday/Saturday in the Georgia middle school state championships.

The big news of the meet was the 2nd place finish (out of 26 teams) by our girls 4x800m team!  Sunshine Flamer, Kendall Rhoads, Myia Pretty and Lauren Olsen edged the 3rd place team by a mere 15/100's of a second, finishing with a time of 10:55.52.  This was the first time these athletes have competed in this event!

Our boys 4x800m finished 14th (out of 22 teams).  Congratulations to John Fravel, Bryce Meyer, Sam Bowers and Bjorn Leicher.

All our 3200m runners had personal bests for that distance as this was the first time they have competed in this event (our USATF competition runs the 3000m.)
  • Krista Campolong, 36th place (out of 54 athletes)
  • Leah Campolong, 38th place
  • Davis Tardif, 23rd place (out of 60 athletes)
  • Josh Cole, 49th place
All our 1600m runners set personal bests that distance!

  • Sunshine Flamer, 26th place
