Athletes must have competed in the Area Preliminaries on June 5 at Carrollton High School in order to compete in the Association Championship June 17-20 at Westlake High School.

6/15/2010 4:37pm - I have removed the Performance List page from our web site.  The USATF Association Meet entries are not correct in the USATF system at this time.  This is the fault of the USATF GA Association; I have printed receipts showing the data we submitted on Friday was correct.  Their data does not match what I submitted.  I'm working with the USATF now to resolve. -- Coach Matthew

Meet event information summarized from this document:

GATE FEES
  • Spectators: $3.00 per day: 4 Day Pass $10.00
  • Senior Citizens: (55 and Older) $2.00 per day 4 Day Pass $8.00
  • FREE: USATF Member Coaches who have completed current background screening, participating athletes, and children under 10 Yrs of age.
WARM UP AREA
  • Athletes may warm up in back of the bleachers and on the side of the front parking lot. 
  • Further updates to areas open for warm-ups will be posted as information becomes available.
TENTS
  • Tents can be put up on the top rows of the stadium seating. 
  • They cannot block the Press box. 
  • Minimal Tent space will be on the grounds due to the new construction and storage facility that was just constructed a Westlake HS. 
  • Tents cannot be erected behind the bathrooms where check-in will be located near the 100M start line.
AWARDS
  • 1st thru 3rd Place finishers will receive USATF Medals. 
  • 4th thru 8th place finishers will receive ribbons. 
  • First place Relay teams will receive engraved batons.
CALL OF EVENTS
  • Each Competitor must report to the Clerk of the Course at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the event.  Check-in will be located outside the stadium near the 100M start line.
  • In case of field events, the competitor must report to the Field Judge in charge of the event. 
  • Track events take precedence over Field Events, however you must report to the Field Judge first and request permission to be excused.
Event Calls are a courtesy for the Athletes:
  • First Call will be 1 Hour before the event
  • Second Call will be 45 minutes before the event
  • Last and FINAL Call will be 30 minutes before the event
  • If you are NOT CHECKED in and ready to move to the starting line by the final call you will be scratched
Advancement to the Regional Meet
  • 1st through 5th place finishers in the Association Junior Olympic Championships, including relays, and Combined-Events, qualify to compete
  • The Region III Junior Olympics Track & Field Championships will be held at North Carolina A&T State University
  • Multi event competition will begin on Thursday, July 8th at 9:00 a.m. and running events will begin Thursday, July 8th @ 5:00 p.m. with the 4 x 800 relay.
