Some of the links below will not be active/available until after the meet deadline has passed and Coach Matthew updates the data based on the meet entries.
  • Meet entry deadline is Wednesday, May 3rd, 8:00 pm.
  • Meet entry page for Alpha Crush athletes can be found here.
  • Meet Program [Download] [View] as of 5/4/2017 12:12 pm
    • Note that in the 3000m, 1500m and 800m some heats are combined but are not indicated as such in the meet program.
    • Coach Matthew's estimate details (see below) show the combined events.  Different age groups and genders are run concurrently on the track, but are scored separately.  For example, it doesn't make sense to run one 15-16 girl in a separate heat in the 3000m; we'll have her run with the 13-14 & 17-18 girls.

Event limits
  • Competitors in the 8 and under, 9-10 or 11-12 year old divisions may enter a maximum of three individual events.
  • Competitors in the 13-14, 15-16 or 17-18 year old divisions may enter a maximum of four individual events.
  • Additionally, Competitors may also enter the 4x100 and/or 4x400 relay events.
    • Historically, Alpha Crush does not typically have enough entries to form a relay team. But, if you stick around to the end when relays are run, we may find a team to put you on. Talk amongst yourselves during the meet to see who wants to participate.
List of Running Events
Note about "estimated" times: With the exception of the 3000m run, we cannot tell you with certainty when a particular running event will start.  The "pace" of the meet depends on the number of athletes competing, the number of heats required, and the ability of the meet hosts to keep things running quickly.  This is referred to as a "rolling start"; the next event is started when the previous event is completed.

Coach Matthew's estimates based on number of entries and time it takes to complete a race.
