How to use

  • Select the event distance:

  • Find your desired finishing time in the first column.

  • Each subsequent column is the elapsed time at the common finish line.

  • Normally, a clock is situated near the common finish line, showing elapsed time for the race.

  • Once the athlete reaches the common finish line the first time, each lap is 400m.

Notes

  • The 1500m starting line is 300m from the common finish line. There are 3 ¾ / 3.75 laps in this race.

  • The 1600m starting line is the common finish line. There are 4 laps in this race.

  • The mile starting line is 9m before the common finish line. There are 4 laps in this race.

  • The 3000m starting line is 200m from the common finish line. There are 7 ½ / 7.50 laps in this race.

  • One lap of a standard outdoor track is 400m.
