This year’s Furman University Cross Country Camp will be managed by the Furman University cross country coaching staff (and not the Furman Institute of Running & Scientific Training).
We will have two sessions July 6-9 and July 11-14.

Timmy (age 7) sets a new 5K "high score" (his term for personal best)
by finishing 25th (24:06.58) out of 148 competitors in the 14 &
under age group. Timmy also edged his father, Dan, by a mere .36
seconds in a sprint finish! I'm sure Dan will do better next year (7th
in his age group this year.) However, Timmy did not win a medal, as it was *unfair* that he had to compete head-to-head with all those middle school boys!
Erin also set a new personal best finishing 9th (25:17.42) out of 121 competitors in the 14 & under age group. Yay!
Older brother Josh finished 11th in his age group and, not to be outdone, Coach Dianne finished 5th in her age group! |
