Meet Entry - 2014 Cross Country

Alpha Crush Meet Entry Instructions

This form is for Alpha Crush parents and high school athletes only. Indicate in the meet entry form which meets your athlete will attend.

"I missed the entry deadline...can I still enter the meet?"

  • For middle school meets, no.

  • For USATF championship meets, no.

  • For developmental meets, maybe.

  • Our advice? Don't miss the entry deadline.

Making Changes

When making a "change", be sure to answer all questions on the form, as each submission needs to be complete.

  • If you make a mistake, just submit another form.

  • If you need to make a change, just submit another form.

  • There is a "comments" field if you need to explain your entry.

  • Each time you submit the form a new record is written to our database with a time stamp that lets us know which is the most recent record.

  • Each new record is written to the end of the list, so you may have to scroll down to see it.

  • Periodically we manually sort the list alphabetically and remove the duplicate entries.

"Real" Meet Entries

  • Alpha Crush administrative staff (i.e. Coach Matthew) takes the information from the Alpha Crush meet entry page and creates the "real" meet entries in the appropriate web site, e.g. Georgia MileSplit or Coach O.

  • Meet entry fees are included in the club registration fee unless otherwise noted. At this time all meet entry fees are covered by the club registration fee.

Meet Schedule

Middle School meets

We participate in a series of middle school meets that range in distance from 3000-3200 meters (3218 meters is 2 miles.) In all middle school meets, athletes in 6th-8th grade are eligible. In some middle school meets we have a bit more flexibility in age of entrants. Younger athletes can compete if they are capable of running 2 miles in under 22 minutes (boys) or 24 minutes (girls). Talk to Coach Matthew if you have questions.

Note: Do not be concerned if you do not have an Alpha Crush uniform for these middle school events. We will attempt to provide all athletes with some type of Alpha Crush shirt. We plan to have our uniforms arrive before our first Developmental meet on 9/21.

  • 8/23 - Pickens Preview, Roper Park, Pickens, GA

  • 9/6 - Covered Bridge Invitational, Garrard Landing Park, Alpharetta, GA

    • 6th-8th grade plus younger, capable athletes

    • 7:30 am - middle school girls and boys

      • Note: The time has changed from the original 11:05 am start.

  • 9/13 - Warpath Invitation, Boling Park, Canton, GA

    • 6th-8th grade plus younger, capable athletes

    • 11:45 am - middle school girls and boys

    • Information: http://ga.milesplit.com/meets/166665

    • 10/4 - North Georgia Middle School Showdown, Blessed Trinity HS, Roswell, GA

      • 6th-8th grade only (?)

      • 10:00 am - middle school girls 3200m

      • 10:40 am - middle school boys 3200m

      • Information: http://ga.milesplit.com/meets/177537

      • Note: This event conflicts with the Etowah Developmental meet at Boling Park. We recommend athletes who plan on attending Blessed Trinity HS run this event. We do not have this event on our meet entry form as we plan for the majority of Alpha Crush athletes to compete at Boling Park. We expect some schools, like Holy Redeemer, may want to send athletes this meet. Therefore, meet entry will be handled by the school itself. Contact Coach Matthew if you have questions.
