Meet entry deadline for Alpha Crush club members,
Thursday, August 31, 8:00 pm. They "fixed" the entry deadline. It is now Thursday, September 14, 8:00 pm. They had a deadline far too early on ga.milesplit.com, but it has been remedied.

Top 10 finishers from races will receive medals

Please plan to arrive at least 60 minutes prior to the start of your race to allow for traffic, parking and making your way to the event site.
9/22/2017 Meet director says - Most people will use exit 283 on 75 North. Due to this we tend to have a lot of traffic entering the park from the south. We recommend that you go two exits north to E Main Street and head south through downtown Cartersville towards the park. This will spread traffic out to the park
Coaches Hospitality
Atlanta Track Club will provide coffee, beverages, and food for coaches and volunteers next to number pick-up by the Aquatic Center Parking lot. Please feel free to grab a drink and a snack.
Rules
The high school races will be governed by National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and Georgia High School Association (GHSA) rules.
There is no governing body for the middle school classification.
In Coach Matthew's opinion, the middle school races should be contested under United States Track & Field (USATF) rules.
However, in 2016, the NFHS/GHSA rules were applied even to the middle school race.
NFHS/GHSA rules prohibit wearing GPS watches and other electronic devices that can monitor heart rate, count steps, or calculate pace (e.g. cell phones, fitness trackers, etc.) For 2017, there is no longer restrictions on jewelry or sunglasses.
USATF rules allow GPS watches and fitness trackers, but prohibit devices that can facilitate two-way communication (radios, cell phones).
Athlete Check-In
Athletes should report to the start line at least 15 minutes prior to their race.
Teams must check in at the start tent.
All athletes running in that particular race must be present at check in.
