Middle School Meets
We attend events specifically for middle school athletes to prepare our athletes for high school events. In cross country, often these meets are held in conjunction with a high school event. In track, these meets are separate from high school meets.
We participate in a number of middle school meets in cross country
For track, 6th/7th/8th grade students are eligible.
For the middle school championships in April, any athlete in grade 6, 7 or 8 living in the state of Georgia may enter the event (or if home-schooled, the grade-equivalent). We can enter 2 competitors in each event including field events, and 2 relays in each relay event. No athlete may enter more than 4 events including relays and field events.
We typically don't do other middle-school meets during the track season.
For cross country, 6th/7th/8th grade students are eligible.
In cross country most middle school meets are held in conjunction with high school meets. Same day and venue, but different races. Each of these meets have slightly different entry restrictions.
