9/27/2024 11:15 am - From our meet hosts ... MEET CANCELLED. Unfortunately, we have to cancel this meet due to the weather conditions causing the park to be closed until further notice. If a reschedule is possible, we will let everyone know.
9/25/2024 5:45 pm - From our meet hosts ... We are monitoring the weather that is coming through this week, and are considering a possible delayed start time on Saturday due to having to wait to set up the course until the morning of the meet. We will update everyone as soon as we know what our setup plan is and if we have to change it. If that happens, our goal will be to only move all start times back by just 1 hour. Looking forward to seeing everyone ready to run on Saturday!
9/26/2024 11:58 am - https://www.cantonga.gov/our-city/city-news/-item-1485 - Starting at noon, Sept. 26, City Parks along the Etowah River including all trails will be closed until further notice. Etowah River Park, Heritage Park, Harmon Park, and Boling Park are all in floodplain areas, along with connecting trails. The clearing of our parks and trails post-storm falls the priority of our team to assist with road clearing and storm debris removals. All available personnel resources will focus on road and infrastructure needs first. Once we are confident in our streets and other utility infrastructures, we will then shift resources to our parks. Once these are ready to reopen we will notify the public.
9/26/2024 2:06 pm - From our meet hosts ... We are still hoping to be able to pull off the meet, but I don't know yet for sure if we will be able to. I just talked to their decision maker and he is going to make a call about weekend closure Friday morning. I will let everyone know if we are go/no-go for the meet as early as possible tomorrow.

No parking allowed along the driveway. Violators will be towed by the city. Overflow parking can be found at Cherokee High School or the lot closer to Marietta Hwy.
No Dogs are allowed in the park without proper service dog paperwork. This is a City of Canton Rule, and no one will be admitted with a dog.

9:00 am – 2K – 8 & under girls
9:25 am – 2K – 8 & under boys
9:50 am – 2-mile – 9-10 girls
10:20 am – 2-mile – 9-10 boys
10:50 am – 2-mile – 11-12 girls
11:20 am – 2-mile – 11-12 boys
11:50 am – 4K – 13-14 girls, 15-18 young women (run together, scored separately)

Results (and awards) will be available approximately 30 minutes after the completion of each race. The timing crew tabulates the results from each previous race as the next race is underway. Unforeseen circumstances (lost bib # numbers, athletes running in wrong race) may affect the amount of time needed to prepare these results.
Top 10 individuals (8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14)
Top 3 individuals (15-18 combined)
Top 2 teams (8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14)
Team awards go "8 deep"; non-scoring runners "9 and above" do not receive medals
