Coach Matthew takes the information provided on the Alpha Crush meet entry selections page and makes the appropriate selections in Athletic.net, the system used for the "real" meet entries.
Athletes 12 & Under: All Cross Country athletes ages 12 and under looking to participate in the AAU Cross Country National Championship must declare at the District Qualifier level and pay the $25 entry fee to be eligible to advance to the AAU Cross Country National Championship and pay the $40 entry fee.
The 12 & Under athletes currently have a status of "Declare for Nationals - Not racing DQ" in the District meet. If they want to run I can change their status, but they have to be registered in District meet.
I can't enter these athletes into the National meet until after the District meet.
Our 13-18 year old athletes will not appear in the AAU District entry list since they can register directly for the AAU National meet.
Entry deadline for 12 & Under: Thursday, Nov 20, 8:00 pm
Athletes 13-18 years old: Cross Country athletes ages 13-18 may register directly for the AAU Cross Country National Championship and pay the $40 entry fee.
The 12 & under athletes are not eligible for me to declare for the AAU National meet until the AAU District meet results are published.
