Alpha Crush Meet Entry Instructions

• • This information is for Alpha Crush parents and Alpha Crush high school athletes only.

Definitions

• • Meet entry page -This page you are looking at is the meet entry page. From here...

  • You can view existing meet entries for all athletes

  • Meet entry form - This is the Google Form (see link below) used to edit meet entries

    • You edit existing entries using the Edit URL you received via email

    • If you lose the Edit URL, let us know via team@alphacrush.org.

  • View meet entries - Use the View Meet Entries link below to view meet entry selections for all athletes.

    • The Google Form used to create/edit meet entries is not designed to view meet entries.

    • After the meet entry deadline, you will not be able to view or edit entries for those meets via the Google Form.

    • The View Meet Entries data is refreshed automatically approximately every 5 minutes based on data entered into the Meet Entry Form.

  • You can make changes to your selections up until the deadline for the specific meet.

    • After the meet entry deadline, you will not be able to view or edit entries for those meets.

  • Early in the season, all meets may not be available to select on the entry form. This is typically true for the USATF Junior Olympic series of meets.

  • Keep in mind that these Meet Entries are not the official meet entries.

    • The data in the meet entry lists here on the Alpha Crush web site are manually transferred into other systems (ga.milesplit.com, coacho.com, athletic.net) depending on the meet.

    • The specific Meet Information pages on this web site has links to "real" meet entries for that specific meet.

Who should complete a meet entry form?

• • Ideally, all registered athletes should have a meet entry form completed by their parent.

  • Changes can be made up to the deadline for each meet, so if you change your mind later, no problem.

  • Completing the form lets our coaches know what your athlete intends to do.

  • Even if it is "no" to every meet, we'd like you to complete a meet entry form.

"I missed the entry deadline...can I still enter the meet?"

• • For middle school meets, no.

  • For USATF championship meets, no.

  • For developmental meets, maybe.

  • Our advice? Don't miss the entry deadline.

Making changes to your meet entries

• • Use the Edit URL that was emailed to you.

  • Email Coach Matthew if you can't find the Edit URL and he will email it to you.

What happens to the meet entries

• • Alpha Crush administrative staff (i.e. Coach Matthew) takes the information from the Alpha Crush meet entry page and creates the "real" meet entries in the appropriate web site, e.g. Georgia MileSplit, Athletic.net or Coach O.

  • Meet entry fees are included in the club registration fee unless otherwise noted. At this time all meet entry fees are covered by the club registration fee.
